I simply don't know where to begin with this book other than that it is incredible.
The story begins in 1714 France after Adeline runs away from her arranged wedding and meets Luc. They make a deal which results in no one being able to remember Addie.
Every year, on the day they made this deal, Luc comes back. It will have been 300 years before someone else remembers her name, changing everything. The characters in this book have many flaws and that, I think, is the beauty of it.
This book left me empty and wanting more in the best way. I knew this book was sad going into it but the ending was not something I expected. I cried, I laughed and I l loved absolutely every second of it.
